Kara was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck. Soon after her birth she had cyanosis, and about 2 minutes later, she cried. She was then put on a special diet. Her family members found that her upper left limb was often flexed onto her chest region and she was unable to turn over. The head CT scan showed that she had cerebral palsy.

Calin was born with macrosomia (Giant baby syndrome). His mental development was normal. His walking ability and balance were poor however, and he needed support when he walked. He had difficulties walking normally when he was 3 years old and he was not able to stand up if he fell over. He received physical rehabilitation training for 2 months but didn¡¯t take any medications. At present, he can walk and stand up, however his movements are slow. Both knees have normal flexure and adduction. The upper left limb has flexion, but there is no dorsiflexion ability in the left wrist.

Ann-Sophie Provencher, Canada, 14
Ann-Sophie was nearly suffocated because the amniotic fluid entered both lungs at birth. Six hours later, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She received oxygen therapy in the local hospital. Six months later, she was diagnosed with epilepsy and received anti-epileptic medication. Within the last 4 years, she has not had any outbreaks of epilepsy. She had myotenolysis in the left leg. At present, her growth is normal, all four limbs can move freely without any signs of dyskinesia.

When Basttahm was 2 years old, he had binocular glaucoma disease, and underwent surgery to treat it. After the operation, he had poor sight in both eyes. At 7 years old, his height was 116.4cm, weight was 19.5kg. He was thin and small with poor nutrition. He was alert. His memory and orientation were normal, but his computational skills were poor. There were some uncoordinated movements with his fingers. His eyeballs can move freely with no signs of nystagmus. The muscle tension in both legs was slightly high. He wondered why he had problems walking and why his legs were so weak because his gait was unstable.

Before the Treatment:

The patient´s mother got an intrauterine infection during the 34 week gestation period. Patient was born with inanimate signs, Apgar score was 1. She was sent to the tutelary ward and given an auxiliary ventilator to assist her breathing for 15 days. At this point she could cry, but her sounds were weaker than the other babies, and she had paroxysmal tremors in both arms. Upon examination, several abnormalities showed which the local doctors considered the result of an "oxygen deficiency brain injury," which up to that point had been untreated. She was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus of the head after the CT examination, which was given 20 days after her birth.

Before Treatment:
The patient is a 27 year old girl. She had a difficult childbirth (dystocia). She was presented with cognitive and motor dysfunction. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The abdomen assumed a navicular shape. She wasn¡¯t able to cooperate with the examination. She was subject to mood changes, including mania. She was unable to lift her feet and dragged them when she walked. She was still unable to cooperate with the other examinations.
After she was admitted to our hospital, she was given an interrelated accelerated examination.

Treatment:
We gave the patient four implantations of stem cells. We also used self stem cells activation treatment to repair the damage to the neurons. The patient received treatment to improve blood circulation and increase the blood supply to the damaged nerves and to nourish the neurons. Daily rehabilitation training was included to promote the recovery of his motor functioning.
